I think we decided to re-do all of the vocals on Veterans’ Day (November 11), because at that point we had re-done 4 of the 11 vocal tracks and everything sounded a million times better through the Microtech-Gefell.

I’ll post my gear list later. I will say that I recorded a large chunk of the album on a Tascam 414 before I upgraded to the 424 MkIII towards the end of the album. (For anyone keeping score, the 414 is now in the hands of my brother and his band, Baffle the Cat.)

Wow. I can’t remember all of the stuff I was using back then but I’ll try.

Guitars were a 1996 Gibson Nighthawk Special and a 1999 Fender Lone Star Stratocaster.

I used were Akai Headrush Delay as a looper originally. Once I got the Electrix Repeater, I used the Headrush for its analog delay. I used a Boss DD-5 for digital delay as well.

Some other pedals I used were the Keeley-modded TubeScreamer, a Vox wah, an MXR Phase 100 (Block Logo) and the Frostwave Resonator (Korg MS-20 Filter Clone) with CV-Expression pedals.
