Dave Hartley should live in a van. Every time he’s been out on tour this month something that he’s been involved in makes Pitchfork’s Forkcast. This time it’s The War On Drugs.
Adam writes great songs. “Comin’ Through” is no exception. It contains so much that I love about great music. His lyrics, sonic experimentation, sick guitar tones. Dimension. And vibe. It’s simply brilliant.
New mini album/EP “future weather” is due out on Secretly Canadian October 26th. Pick it up peeps.
My buddy Dave Hartley (The War On Drugs, Buried Beds, BC Camplight) has spent the last year plus writing and recording a pretty lush record that is not easily pinned down.
